George Grossberg is the Samuel W. Fordyce Professor and Director of Geriatric Psychiatry at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. The former President of the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry, Dr. Grossberg currently serves as President of the International Psychogeriatric Association.
Dr. Grossberg and his work have been featured in numerous national publications, including "People," "Good Housekeeping," "USA Today," and the "New York Times." He has appeared on many television programs, including "48 Hours," "CNN," "Lifetime TV," and the "Sally Jesse Raphael Show." Dr. Grossberg has edited six textbooks and contributed over 300 articles, chapters and abstracts to the geriatric literature. He currently serves as Medical Editor of CNS/LTC, Assistant Editor of the International Journal of Geriatric Psychopharmacology, and is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry and Demencia Hoy.
Dr. Grossberg has served as a consultant on nursing homes to the U.S. Justice Department Civil Rights Division, and he chaired the development of Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Treatment of Depression in the Nursing Home for the American Medical Director's Association. He also developed educational guidelines on Alzheimer's disease for the American Academy of Family Practice.

Forest, Janssen, Lilly, Novartis, Organon, Omnicare and Synthelabo.
